By creating an Appreciate account or using an Appreciate page, button, embed, or related service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Using Appreciate
Appreciate provides tools for creators to publish support pages, generate buttons and embeds, and connect external payment methods. You must use the service lawfully and provide accurate information when creating an account or public page.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity carried out through it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
Payment methods and third parties
Appreciate does not hold supporter funds or replace the payment provider you choose. You are responsible for ensuring that your connected links, identifiers, offers, taxes, refunds, and payment activity comply with applicable law and the rules of each payment provider. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies.
Content and public pages
You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile text, images, and button labels. You grant Appreciate permission to host, display, and technically reproduce that content as needed to operate the service. Do not publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or designed to facilitate fraud.
Acceptable use
You may not use Appreciate to impersonate another person, distribute malware, collect credentials, bypass provider safeguards, manipulate payments, violate another person’s rights, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that create a material risk to supporters, creators, providers, or the service.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Appreciate reliable, but the service may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may update features, these terms, or pricing-related information. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice where practical.
Disclaimers and liability
Appreciate is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for the acts, outages, disputes, or policies of third-party payment providers. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Ending an account
You may stop using Appreciate at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address abuse, or enforce these terms. Provisions that should reasonably continue after termination will remain in effect.
